The
CEO Stephen Elop, in an interview with the Australian Financial Review has said
that Nokia is interested in the tablet space. However he did not give any
details of it. It appears that the Nokia is closely observing the Surface
tablet and its performance in the market. The CEO has remarked about the right
way to participate and at what point of time. Clearly this shows Nokia’s
interest in the tablet market. What could be interpreted from his remarks is
that a continuation of its Smartphone partnership with Microsoft.
It
is likely that Nokia will keep its options open for the time being
