Amazon to launch virtual currency



Amazon has unveiled a virtual currency.  This is to target the developers who do programming for games and other applications. This is seen as largely to enhance thee users of its brand Kindle Fire tablet computers.

Amazon Coins as it will be known is introduced in the United States in May.

Amazon coins can be utilized to pay for virtual goods sold inside mini-programs. This way the customers find a convenient way to spend money. The developers stand to get benefited.
This is going to help the developers of programs tailored for Kindle Fire. The revenue sharing is likely to be at the rate of  70:30.
