Samsung has unveiled the worlds’
first Curved OLED TV in the 2013 International Consumer Electronics
Show (CES). This
innovation of curved OLED TV is likely to usher in a new trend especially in
the home entertainment.
There
is a vast difference between flat and a curved screen. In a flat screen the distance
between the eye and the screen varies from the center and the edge of the
screen. In a curved OLED TV this is eliminated or minimized. Another point to
note is it can be viewed from any angle without any stress to the eyes also rendering a panoramic effect.
It is now almost certain that every
TV manufacturer will be bringing their own version of Curved OLED TV sets.
