Logitech has introduced a Wireless Keyboard. The salient feature of this keyboard is it is illuminated this has been made possible by introducing what is described as laser etched backlit keys. This enables the Keyboard to be used in the dark or lesser light. It is claimed that only the characters are illuminated so that there is no distraction The company claims this keyboard has been designed with fingering comfort in mind.

This keyboard is equipped with sensors to detect the external lighting conditions to adjust the backlighting. It can be adjustable by the user too. Another sensor detects the hand movement to turn on and off the backlight 

Recharging is done via micro-USB cable. A recharge of six hours makes the use of the keyboard for 10 days. The receiver which is called Unifying receiver is designed to stay in laptops and serves an additional wireless mouse or additional devices. The unique feature of this device is it can be left in the laptop itself.

The battery life is said to be 15 months. However there are models with 3years battery life.

The keyboard is compatible with Window® XP, Windows Vista® or Windows® 7
